Dreams Games
Kyle's Kamp established the Dreams Games during the Spring 2014 season to give High School Varsity and JV teams the opportunity to make an impact on their community by raising awareness and funds for Pediatric Cancer through the game of baseball. In our inaugural season teams across the Northern Virginia area raised over $80,000 to help children fighting cancer.
What are Dreams games?
The Dreams games will be held at various High Schools and Colleges during a normally scheduled home game. We recommend selecting a Friday night game against a rival that will be well attended. Kyle's Kamp offers High School programs numerous ideas and support to make their fundraising game night memorable for players, fans and the community. We will set up an online donation page especially for your team. Players can email the Online Donor Site link to friends and family to promote their Dreams game date and start raising money even before they take the field. Additional fundraising ideas including holding a raffle or silent auction, donating concession or gate fees and getting a corporate sponsor to match donations are found under the Dreams tab above.
TEAMS THAT RAISE $5,000 WILL RECEIVE A $500 DONATION TO THEIR PROGRAM.
COACHES- It only takes 5 minutes! We do all of the work...
How do I sign up?
You (or a parent or coach representative) simply contact our Dreams Coordinator, Jennifer Skinner, at [email protected] and/or go ahead and register your team below and you will be contacted by a member of our KK Dreams team.
Kyle's Kamp will also hook up each team with a "Patient Ambassador" - a local cancer patient from your area. Interacting with these brave children will have the biggest impact on your players and fans and will make this game one of the most memorable you or your players will ever experience.
"This experience of hosting a Diamond Dreams game may well have been our very best day on the baseball field in 2014. Our players and the entire community got far more out of it than our Patient Ambassador, Reed - who is a reminder of how fragile life is and how personal courage along with an unshakeable determination of a loving family and organization, Kyle's Kamp, can make such a positive impact on the lives of so many" - Jeff Nolan, Varsity Head Coach, Paul VI High School
"It's remarkable how every single player, parent and coach garners a better perspective on the game of baseball and moreover on life once they experience a Kyle's Kamp Diamond Dreams game. It's the impact the Ambassador has on our collective program that makes the Kyle's Kamp experience exceptionally special. Being afforded the opportunity to host a Diamond Dreams game is the easiest tactical decision a coach has to make." - Mark Wrighte, Varsity Head Coach, Freedom High School
